The Challenge
A national traffic authority needed a command room capable of monitoring a city-wide camera network around the clock, with enough screen real estate and redundancy that operators could track incidents in real time without losing visibility if a single component failed.
The Solution
Sectrom built a dual-operator command room around multi-screen video walls, giving operators a unified, city-wide view drawn from a network of PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras positioned across key traffic points. The system runs on redundant NVR infrastructure, so recording and monitoring continue uninterrupted even if individual hardware fails.
The Results
The Traffic Management Center now operates a mission-critical 24/7 surveillance capability with built-in redundancy, and is featured on Sectrom’s own security page as one of its flagship "Proven in the Field" case studies alongside other national-scale deployments.
